Author Guidelines

For guidelines to submit the paper in JTMB, the template can be downloaded by clicking JTMB Template

  • Arrange the manuscript with the following (1) title page, (2) abstract, (3) keywords, (4) text, (5) acknowledgments, (6) conflict of interest, (7) author contribution, (8) references.
  • For the main body of the text, the following structure will be suitable in many cases:
    • Introduction
    • Related work
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion
  • Abstract: Provide an article summary of 300 words or less.
  • Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords.
  • Grant and other acknowledgments: Specify support of any work discussed, by a grant or otherwise.
  • Text and references should follow the APA style.

COPYRIGHT TRANSFER AGREEMENT: Upon acceptance of an article, the authors have to fill in the authorization form of the article to the publisher on behalf of any and all co-authors. The form can be downloaded at Copyright Transfer Agreement Form

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Please insert all author names into the system based on the order as in the article.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • At least 30% of the references should be from Scopus/WOS-indexed publications.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • Plagiarism check (plagiarism is copying another's work or borrowing someone else's original ideas.)( http://turnitin.com/ )
Non-compliance with any of the requirements will result in immediate desk rejection.
